Look for patterns, not perfect numbers

A long sentence is not automatically bad, and a short sentence is not automatically clear. Statistics become useful when they reveal repeated patterns across a draft.

Several very long sentences in one paragraph may signal that the ideas need to be separated or reordered.

Frequent terms can reveal focus or repetition

Repeated topic words may confirm that the draft stays focused. Repeated filler words may make the writing feel mechanical.

Review the frequent-term list in context before replacing anything. Technical documentation often needs deliberate repetition for accuracy.
