Length matters more than clever patterns
A longer random password is usually stronger than a short password with predictable substitutions.
For normal accounts, 16 characters or more is a practical minimum. For admin accounts, longer is better when the service allows it.
Use a password manager
A generated password is only useful if you can store it safely. Use a trusted password manager rather than memorizing or reusing passwords.
Do not send generated passwords over public chat or email unless your organization has a secure process for temporary credentials.
